Kitchen Science - Advanced
4th through 8th Grades

Taking Kitchen Science Experiments to a whole new level by incorporating chemistry and physics into learning with experiments and hands on activities.
 
Other standards addressed:
Students will...
  • Science 8.3.1 - ...develop an understanding of properties and changes of properties in matter
  • Science 8.8.2 - ...develop an understanding of the nature of science.
  • Science 4.3.1 - ….develop an understanding of objects and materials

This project includes two visits by the 4-H office:
 
To experiment with ordinary kitchen items, predict outcomes and just have fun!
 
Fee for Kitchen Science: $40 per classroom (up to 30 students)
