Go Fly A Kite
4th - 8th Grades

Build your own kite and see if it will fly while learning about the Power of Wind.
 
This lesson will explore the importance and use of different elements for flight.
 
One visit will be scheduled during this project.
 
Other standards addressed:

  • Science 5.3.2/ Science 8.3.2- …. Develop an understanding of motion and forces
  • Science 8.3.3- …. Develop an understanding the forms of energy and how energy is transferred
