Ag Day: 4-H at your School
3rd through 6th grade


An exciting event to teach your students about Nebraska’s #1 industry!!
 
“Ag Day: 4-H at your School” is an event from the Douglas/Sarpy 4-H Office, which can be designed to include your school’s 3rd through 6th grade students. Presentations are modified to be age appropriate. The sessions can be tailored to fit your school’s schedule, but will include:
 
A large group outdoor assembly with live farm animals. (30 min.)
 
The following four sessions will rotate within the participating classrooms. These hands-on activities are designed to be effective in groups up to 30 students. (30 min. each)
  • What’s Growing On
  • Across the State
  • By-Product Bingo
  • Moo-ving On Up
FEE: The fee for this program is $2 per student (four to six classroom limit), and includes all supplies, expenses and travel to any school in Douglas and Sarpy Counties.
 
“Ag Day: 4-H at your School” is being offered on a first-come, first- served basis the following days.

Teachers will receive an invoice from the 4-H staff via e-mail after the project data has been set.
