4-H in the Classroom

Looking for exciting activities to enhance your current curriculum?  4-H in the Classroom - University of Nebraska Lincoln Extension's "learn by doing" programs - can help your students develop skills and knowledge to meet the Nebraska State Board of Education Standards in Science, Social Studies and Reading/Writing.
 
The following is a list of 4-H School Enrichment projects for use in your classroom. These projects are available to teachers in Douglas and Sarpy Counties. The fee for each project is listed by its description and must be paid when you register for the project.

The projects listed below are designed to enrich your classroom curriculum.

The fees which are indicated are inclusive of all supplies needed for the entire series of programs.

In order for Extension staff to adequately give their presentations, teachers or staff members MUST remain in the classroom.

To register for the classes:
  1. Click on the desired program below.
  2. Fill out the form on-line for each program that you want.
  3. 4-H staff will contact the teachers by e-mail to confirm dates and times.
  4. An invoice will be sent to you after confirmation of all programs.
The appropriate grade levels for each project are indicated following the project titles.

We have attempted to identify some of the Nebraska State Board of Education Standards each project can help your students fulfill. Those concepts are high-lighted within the boxes and following the project description.
