| Mary Anna Anderson | Extension Associate- Horticulture Mary Anna's two hats include a staff position and volunteering as a Master Gardener. A certified arborist with a commercial applicator license, Mary Anna came to horticulture roundabout, first completing a bachelor's degree in political science at the University of Missouri. She is a certified teacher and has an associate degree in landscape design and nursery management from Metropolitan Community College. Prior to joining the staff, she worked in greenhouse management and plant care. She became a Master Gardener in 1994. |
| Kathleen Cue | Extension Associate - Horticulture Kathleen's bachelor's degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is in horticulture with a landscape design option. Prior to joining the extension staff, Kathleen worked as a landscaper. In addition to managing the volunteer activities of the Master Gardeners, Kathleen presents programs to community groups and participates in Master Gardener training. |
| John Fech | Extension Educator - Horticulture John has a bachelor's degree in horticulture and a master's in turf grass management from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. In addition to frequent speaking engagements and program presentation, John is featured on radio station KFAB's 'Plant Talk' and KETV's 'Green Thumb' segment. He writes a column for the Omaha World-Herald's Sunday garden page, and he is a periodic guest on the public television program 'Backyard Farmer.' |
